an arch wherethro'

"I am a part of all that I have met; yet all experience is an arch wherethro' gleams that untravell'd world whose margin fades for ever and for ever when I move."
Ulysses by Alfred Lord Tennyson

Rainy Day at Mom's

We are finished at Camp so Keri and I have left our cabin to return to Searcy. Two frantic days at the office then up to Mom's to mow and pick blueberries. We got some done before the rain set in. I'm afraid the rest will have to wait. Ian is still at Camp doing his final week of NYLT staff. He is loving it. Sammie is surveying her domain but avoiding the rain.

Our Summer Hide-Away

We are back in Searcy after the last five weeks at our hide-away cabin in Damascus. It was a wonderful break from our life in Searcy. We frequently saw deer (including a bachelor herd with racks), turkey, and armadillo. Ian and I worked at the nearby Boy Scout camp. It was really a magical summer.
